MARC Records: Instructional Tips


When you click on the links provided for our MARC records, do not open the files; instead please download them to a findable place, then open your MARC software and import them to view the records. 

Please note, we have included persistent links to our databases in the 856 field that allow for general authorized access; your institution, however, may want to update that field with the access link(s) provided to you in subscription and access confirmation emails. This will allow your library to better control how users access your Facts On File subscriptions. Once downloaded, there is no need to update the MARC records on a regular basis.
