| Standard MARC Records: contain basic information about a Facts On File database. We have provided different types of standard records to accommodate the needs of various libraries: one record includes Sears subject headings, one record includes Library of Congress subject headings, and one record includes Library of Congress subject headings with usage for juvenile collections (Annotated Card Program usage). |
| Enhanced MARC Records: contain the same information as the Standard MARC Records, plus an additional 100 to 150 searchable keywords in the 505 field. Our editors have carefully selected keywords that reflect the content available in each of our databases; this allows users who conduct searches in your OPAC to more easily locate your Facts On File subscriptions.
